Summary:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse – Mother Baby care unit for our prestigious healthcare client in Wilmington, OH.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Based on the patient’s current health or needs, determine the priority of data collection. Utilize suitable assessment methodologies to gather relevant data, including the patient, their close friends, and medical professionals in the data collection process.
- Accordance to facility requirements, enters pertinent information in the medical record.
- Identifies anticipated effects that are specific to the patient.
- Analyzes the evaluation information to identify diagnoses and patient issues.
- Creates a care plan that specifies interventions to achieve desired results.
- Carries out the interventions listed in the care plan, evaluates the patient’s advancement in achieving the desired results.
- Participates in actions that improve the quality of care, such as, but not limited to:
1. Determining the components of care that are crucial for quality monitoring.
2. Identifying the metrics by which nursing care efficacy and quality are assessed.
3. Quality data analysis to find areas for healthcare improvement.
4. Making suggestions to enhance patient outcomes or nursing care.
5. The execution of initiatives to raise nursing practice standards.
6. Makes practice modifications based on the outcomes of quality-of-care initiatives.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATONS:
- Graduate of a professional nursing school that is accredited.
- Obtaining Ohio nursing license as a registered nurse (RN).
- Skilled in both oral and writing communication as well as computer systems.
- One year of hospital experience
