Job Details as Registered General Nurse (RGN):
Schedule: Days/Night – 12-hour shift
Shift timings: 8am – 8pm | 8pm – 8am
Responsibilities as Registered General Nurse (RGN):
– To carry responsibility for the management of the unit during the day Develop the skills of the care team
– Promote and maintain a high standard of nursing care
– To ensure effective induction of all staff, together with clinical supervision of trained staff, mentorship and assessment of student nurses, and induction of new care staff.
– Maintain accurate records and ensure that each resident within the Care Centre has an individualized Care Plan
– To Nursing qualification and current NMC registration Strong Clinical experience.
– Carry out agreed procedures for improvement of the nursing services and the reduction of cross-infection
– Have full knowledge of and take responsibility to ensure adherence to infection control policies and procedures of the Department of Health and the Company at all times
– Always promote our resident’s independence, choice, and dignity by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement
– Skills and experience required
Requirements as Registered General Nurse (RGN):
– A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
– Right to live and work in the UK
– Previous experience working as a staff nurse or registered nurse in a Care Home environment
– Have a valid NMC pin
– Minimum of 5 years experience of working as a nurse in a nursing home
– You must be able to provide 2 references prior
